- Anthropic, the company behind Claude, files to sell shares to the public (Anthropic, ). On 26 October, Anthropic filed the paperwork for an initial public offering, or IPO, with the proposed ticker ANT. It has not said how many shares it will sell or at what price.
- Can AI answer surveys for real people? Pew Research says: not really (Pew Research, ). Pew Research had an AI answer nearly 300 survey questions as if it were real Americans. On average its answers were 12 percentage points away from what real people said, and worse for some groups.
